We loved the hotel's location near the harbor, as it provided stunning views of the water. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a well-stocked mini bar. The staff offered excellent service, taking care of our bags and providing a warm welcome. The hotel was conveniently close to all the Wellington restaurants on the waterfront, making it easy for us to explore the local dining scene.
All good.

The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance of most major attractions and just across from the waterfront. the room was clean and spacious, with a stunning view of the harbor. the staff were friendly and helpful, offering exceptional service. the breakfast at the hotel was delicious, and there was a great coffee shop nearby.
The parking situation was disappointing, as there was no availability due to a party taking up all the spaces.

The refurbished rooms. The rooms were becoming shoddy and we had stayed at alternative venues. Now with the new look rooms we will once again stay with the Duxton. The room was fresh, clean and bright.
I really think thata $30 to park a car per night is exorbitant, but it appears that it fits the market so, so be it. A suggestion I would like to offer is not to stick to market rates but offer your customers a reduced car parking rate.

We had a really fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, right across the street from the convention centre and in the heart of the city. This made it incredibly convenient for us to explore all that this vibrant and lively capital had to offer.
We would recommend this hotel to all.

Being senior farmers and not used to the hustle and bustle of city life, the Amora Hotel was easy to find and central to where we needed to go so took a taxi and the staff took care of all our needs which is greatly appreciated. We were in a wing that was quiet and no air conditioning or pump noises in the ceiling which was great. Thank you.

Central location
We thouught the valet parking charge was excessive. $25 for a continental breakfast was exhorbitant. We booked a Delux room but there was nothing delux about it - very "tired" looking. Only double beds in room (which were uncomfortable) - we expected a queen size bed.

Great location, spacious rooms, delicious breakfast I recently stayed in a hotel during a city break and there were many things that I liked about it. the hotel was superbly located close to the city center and attractive tourist sites. the rooms were very spacious and comfortable, giving me plenty of room to carry out my daily activities without feeling cramped. the buffet breakfast was delicious with a wide range of options to choose from.
the noise levels from the traffic outside of the hotel could be a real problem at times, especially when trying to sleep at night.

The location of the Hotel is its biggest asset, centrally situated easy to arrive at. We travelled by the Airport bus from the airport and got off at a stop within a small block from the hotel which took us a matter of minutes to walk into the lobby entrance. Recommend this way of transport as you get to view the scenery at a height vantage, far better than a taxi and to top it off the information on the bus was up to the minute with it’s on board computer system and Wi Fi for those who need it. The hotel rooms would have some of the best view vantages in Wellington with a vista over the inner harbor, Tepapa and the Tararua Ranges, Fantastic. On our arrival and departure we found the front office personal to be most helpful and courteous.

The location. Also the luxury of the room
Nothing really. The shower door never meet the bottom of the tiled floor and loads of water went everywhere. And I got sauce on the rob. Wouldve been nice to have them replaced for my second night.
